#KEEPING IT LOCAL

Those of you who kindly follow my social media sites will be familiar with the many local landscape photos I take during my early morning rambles in and around my home town of Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire.

This year, many of these photos will be included within a new collection of premium mounted & framed prints available to buy through my online shop. As I continue to explore the local area, the collection will build, offering you an ever growing gallery of stunning images from which to choose.

About my Chosen Charity

Long established charity Maria Taylor aims to spread Christmas cheer by fundraising for, and delivering gifts to elderly and infirm local residents in Chalfont St Peter during the festive season.

Funded largely by money raised at an annual Christmas Carol signing service at St Peter’s Church on the last

Thursday before Christmas, the charity continues to support the elderly in our community, as it has done for nearly 200 years.

In 1824, a villager from Chalfont St Peter, a charitable woman named Maria Taylor, bequeathed a sum of £300, to be spent on buying bread, coals and blankets for the needy and destitute for her village at Christmas. Now, almost 200 years later, Maria’s gift is still giving to vulnerable villagers who may not have the resources to spend a little extra at Christmas time and a small treat, hand delivered by the charity’s  3 trustees, can go a long way in making a person feel a little of the Christmas magic that some of us take for granted.

You’ll notice that 5% of the profits from fine art print sales from this online shop will be donated to the Maria Taylor charity. I also hope that supporting this charity will help raise awareness of this relatively unknown but extremely important cause.
