Photographing weddings is a serious but really enjoyable business for me. It’s also a huge privilege, and I always appreciate that I’m one of the very few people that get to experience every step of your big day, from the very beginning to the very end.
However you find me, whether it’s a recommendation from a friend, or via my website, choosing the right photographer for you is really important. When you first enquire, I suggest and informal relaxed meet up to chat through your day in detail, your ideas and important moments you want to be captured. I think it’s essential that we bond, and for many couples, this first meeting is an opportunity to decide if I’m the right person for the job!
A ahead of the big day, we’ll have agreed key timings for the day, important family members you’d like captured, if and when you’d like formal family photos, the most photogenic locations at your venue to ensure that you spend as much time celebrating with your family & friends as possible rather than thinking about photos!
When it comes to the big day, I shoot continuously and unobtrusively blending with your guests to take both candid and formal portraits. It’s about those special details and loving moments between you and your partner, that tell the story of your day and make your wedding day unique.
Whenever possible I use natural light to catch the atmosphere and spirit of the occasion.
